what it is
The Insights Sprint turns available data into decision-ready business insights. It focuses on a small set of priority questions and produces clear findings, recommended actions, and a simple reporting rhythm.
This sprint is most valuable after a foundation baseline exists (or when exports are already clean and accessible).
How it works (3 steps)
Align on the questions and KPIs
We agree on 1–3 priority questions and define what success looks like (metrics and targets).
Analyze + validate
We compute the KPIs, segment where relevant (cohorts, customer type, role), and validate logic so results are defensible.
Translate into actions
We produce insight narratives (“so what / now what”) and an execution list for the next 30 days.
What gets delivered
KPI pack (definitions + formulas)
Clear metric dictionary with owners and refresh cadence.
Insight cards (8–12)
Each insight includes: finding → impact → recommended action.
Decision memo or slide pack
A concise deliverable that can be shared internally.
Action backlog (prioritized)
Next steps ranked by impact and effort.
Monthly (or weekly) reporting rhythm template
A repeatable process to keep performance visible.
Dashboards & measurement (how we operationalize insights)
Dashboard v1 (recommended)
A small dashboard aligned to the sprint’s questions (not “everything at once”).
